Sturgis Safety Town

Sturgis Safety Town is a miniature version of the City of Sturgis with roads, sidewalks, buildings, working stop lights, and working cross walk lights. The buildings represent local businesses, churches, and organizations from the Sturgis Community.
A major focus of Sturgis Safety Town are the one week summer camps for students in the summer. During these summer camps, students will attend class for three hours a day and learn about a variety of subjects including 911 safety, bike safety, electrical safety, fire safety, and school bus safety.

Another event for Safety Town is the annual Halloween Extravaganza that allows children to go trick or treating and participate in activities such as hayrides, free donuts and cider, and walking through a haunted house and a haunted bus. This is an event that continues to grow with the amazing support of area businesses and donations.

We have recently added a movie night to the list of events for Sturgis Safety Town. With the wonderful donations by Auto Park Ford, these movie nights are free to the community!
